The threshold tone can be toggled on and off in any sensitivity setting with a long press of the Ground Type button.
The threshold tone is switched on in the Manual sensitivity ranges and switched off in the Automatic sensitivity ranges.
When the detector is next turned on, the threshold tone will return to its default.
