Quick Help 

1. Set Up

Lift the handle and unfold the detector until it locks into place.
Insert 4 × AA batteries into the battery compartment.
Extend the lower shaft until it clicks, then adjust the upper shaft to your height using the camlock.
Fold out the search coil so it sits parallel to the ground and tighten the coil nut gently.

2. Power On

Press and hold the Power ON/OFF switch. The LCD display will light up and show icons.

3. Begin Detecting

Sweep the coil side‑to‑side, keeping it 2–3 cm above the ground.
Use slow, overlapping sweeps, roughly 1–2 seconds per pass.
When metal is detected, the detector will beep and a target icon will flash.

4. Use Find Modes

The GO‑FIND 22 has two Find Modes: All‑Metal Mode and Reject Iron Mode. Use the Find Mode button to switch between modes; display icons show which metal types are active.

5. Adjust Sensitivity

Choose from three sensitivity levels to match ground conditions. Higher levels improve depth and detection of small targets, while lower levels reduce false signals in noisy soil.

6. Target Feedback

The GO‑FIND 22 uses two audio tones:

a low tone for iron and
a high tone for coins or more valuable metals

Four target icons illuminate depending on the type of metal detected.

The depth indicator shows three levels of depth so you know how far you may need to dig.

7. Additional Tips

Maintain at least 15 m distance from other detector users to avoid interference.
Hold the detector so it stays aligned with your forearm for comfortable use.
