Quick Help

1. Set Up

Lift the handle and unfold the detector until it locks into position.
Insert 4 × AA batteries into the battery compartment.
Slide out the armrest to a comfortable length.
Fold out the search coil so it sits parallel to the ground and tighten the coil nut gently.
Fully extend the lower shaft until it clicks, then adjust the upper shaft height using the camlock.

2. Power On

Press and hold the Power ON/OFF switch.
The display will illuminate with icons.

3. Begin Detecting

Sweep the coil side‑to‑side, keeping it 2–3 cm above the ground.
Move at a slow pace, with each sweep taking 1–2 seconds and slightly overlapping the previous one.
The detector will light up and beep when metal is detected.

4. Use Find Modes

GO‑FIND 44 offers 3 Find Modes to help detect different groups of metals.
Cycle through the modes using the Find Mode button.
Target icons on the display show what types of objects are accepted or rejected.

5. Adjust Sensitivity

Choose from 4 sensitivity levels to match ground conditions.
Higher sensitivity increases depth but may cause more noise in mineralised soil.

6. Target Feedback

GO‑FIND 44 uses 3 audio tones:

Low tone for iron
Mid tone for less valuable metals
High tone for high‑value metals like silver or copper.

The display includes 4 target icons representing different metal categories.

A 3‑level depth indicator shows how deep the target may be.

7. Pinpoint Mode

Pinpoint mode helps you locate the exact position of a target before digging.
Activate Pinpoint using its dedicated control.

8. Additional Tips

Keep at least 15 m distance from other detector users to avoid interference.
Ensure the detector aligns comfortably with your forearm for stable handling.
