Quick Help

1. Set Up

Lift the handle and unfold the detector until it locks into place.
Insert 4 × AA batteries into the battery compartment.
Slide the armrest to a comfortable position.
Fold out the search coil so it is parallel to the ground and gently tighten the coil nut.
Fully extend the lower shaft until it clicks, then adjust the upper shaft to your height using the camlock.

2. Power On

Press and hold the Power ON/OFF switch.
The screen will light up and display icons.

3. Begin Detecting

Sweep the coil side‑to‑side, keeping it 2–3 cm above the ground.
The recommended swing speed is 1–2 seconds per pass.
Overlap each sweep slightly for complete ground coverage.
The detector will beep and display an icon when metal is detected.

4. Use Find Modes

The GO‑FIND 66 includes 4 Find Modes, allowing you to accept or reject different metal groups.
Cycle through modes using the Find Mode button; icons show which target types are active.

5. Adjust Sensitivity

Choose from 5 sensitivity levels to adjust performance based on terrain.
Higher levels improve depth and small‑target detection; lower levels reduce false signals in noisy ground.

6. Target Feedback

GO‑FIND 66 uses 4 audio tones:

Low tone for iron Mid‑1 tone for lower‑value metals
Mid‑2 tone for higher‑value metals
High tone for precious metals such as silver.

The display includes 4 target icons that flash according to metal type.
A 4‑level depth indicator shows how deep the target may be.

7. Pinpoint Mode

Pinpoint mode helps you zero in on the exact location of a target for faster and cleaner recovery.

8. Backlight & Bluetooth

The backlight improves visibility in low‑light conditions.
Bluetooth allows wireless audio and supports the GO‑FIND smartphone app for additional features.

9. Additional Tips

Keep at least 15 m distance from other detector users to avoid interference.
Hold the detector so it lines up with your forearm for comfortable operation.
