Quick Help
1. Set Up
Insert a 9V PP3 battery into the battery compartment. Make sure the O-ring is clean to maintain splash water resistance. Screw the battery cover tightly. Before turning on the pinpointer, keep it at least 300 mm away from metal objects so that it calibrates correctly.
2. Power On
Press and hold the power button (5) briefly. The device will emit two beeps and calibrate automatically. A short beep indicates that the pinpointer is ready for use.
3. Start Pinpointing
Slowly move the tip of the pinpointer over the ground or into the hole. The beeps will become more frequent as you get closer to the target. When you are very close, a continuous tone will sound.
4. Detection Feedback
The PRO-FIND 15 offers:
Audio tone as the only feedback signal.
Standard sensitivity (not adjustable).
No vibration or ferrous ID functions (models 20/35 only).
5. Lost Alarm
If the pinpointer is not moved for approx. 3 minutes, a long alarm tone sounds.
The tone repeats every 10 seconds until detection occurs.
After another 5 minutes, the device switches off automatically.
6. Low Battery
A low battery is indicated by a flashing LED (if model has LED).
When the battery level is critically low, the pinpointer switches off automatically.
7. Quick Tips
When switching on, keep the probe away from metal to avoid false signals.
Clean the O-ring and thread regularly and grease the O-ring with silicone grease to ensure water protection.
The PRO-FIND 15 is waterproof up to 1.5 m – ideal for wet ground or shallow water.
